The Nanaimo Dry Grad Society is preparing for Nanaimo Dry Grad 2026, taking place on June 26, 2026, and we are inviting community partners to be part of this important celebration for our graduating youth.

Our Goal

Nanaimo Dry Grad is a safe, inclusive, drug- and alcohol-free event open to any graduating student whose home address is in Nanaimo or Ladysmith — including students attending specialty programs outside the community. This ensures all graduates can celebrate together, regardless of school.

In 2025, we proudly revived Nanaimo Dry Grad for the first time post-COVID. Despite it being a rebuilding year, over 700 students attended, proving how much this event matters. With awareness and excitement growing, we are anticipating an even larger turnout for 2026.

How Community Support Helps

Financial contributions allow us to secure venues and equipment, bring in high-quality activities and vendors, and cover the core costs that make the event possible. In-kind donations such as snacks, drinks, and student prizes play an important role in keeping graduates energized, engaged, and excited throughout the night.
